A lot of things went wrong today. In fact, I think I had a few more than the usual suckage that a single day can produce. In spite of it all I had a great day. I’m not sure why, but nothing got me down today. It was pretty damn awesome!
Things that should have pissed me off today, but for some reason didn’t:
- Waking up to a broken blog. My host was having issues with someone doing nasty things on my server and it borked my blog. DreamHost laid down some smack on the user (their words not mine) and fixed everything up all nice and pretty-like. I love DreamHost!
- Waking up to a broken iPhone. Well, I had an idea last night that it was not feeling well, but when I went to bed with a full charge and woke up to a dead iPhone I knew that a visit to the doctor was in order.
- It rained last night. The little dog learned just this very morning to use the doggie door all by herself, which meant that when I went outside to get her BOTH dogs were covered with mud and jumped all over me. After I was already dressed for work.
- Certified letters from the IRS. Never a good thing.
- Hubs is catching the plague. I swear if he infects me and I can’t travel (because I’ll infect everyone else) I will sew the legs of all of his boxers shut.
- Joe Biden is here. I have nothing against the man, just his motorcade. It screws up traffic wherever he goes.
It seems nothing can quench my good mood today! Besides, there was also:
- Blue sky! The sun is shining and the weather is warm. I’m soaking these days up while I can before the dreaded winter hits.
- Puppy learned how to use the dog door. Hopefully now she’ll use it to come in when big sis leaves her out in the cold.
- Puppy also only cried a quarter of the way into town this morning. Compared to crying ALL the way like yesterday, that’s the awesomesauce. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is worse than a 20 minute commute in an enclosed vehicle with a screaming beagle.
- Genius Bar! I took my sad, broken phone to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store and they fixed my phone for me. It took 2 hours because it had to be restored, but my genius fixed it and he never once lost his patience.
- Finding clothes that fit and look somewhat cute, even if you’re forced to confront the enormity of your current fat in the devil 3-way mirrors.
- In less than one week I will be in Orlando for Avitaween!
The short version is that even though many things tried to go wrong today, I shot rainbows and unicorns out my ass and turned that frown upside down. Take that, bitches!

If you do attack said underwear, would that be called short shortsing?
