Backjack, Do It All Again

Don’t you love it when you are sitting there, minding your own business, and whammo!

You get kicked by a horse.

Well, not really.  I was really just sitting in a booth at a restaurant and my back went out.  Like you’re suddenly crawling down your chair, unsure if you’re ever going to walk again, or even be able to breathe kind of going out.  I honestly didn’t know if I was going to make it out of the restaurant.

It’s times like these when I wish I could draw toons like Dave to accurately depict my frustration. I know there is no good time for a backjack, but when I’m already hobbling around?  Less than ideal.

I guess it’s true what they say about distracting pain with pain because my foot feels almost normal now.  This wasn’t exactly the way I envisioned that happening.
