Doh!

Look who learned how to use Photo Booth!  Yeah, I have a webcam and I’m not afraid to use it.  It’s a slippery slope from here to photocopying my butt on the internetz so don’t say you weren’t warned, yo.

Mostly as far as posts go I got nuthin’.  We’re in “get the boy to college” mode and that’s occupying large portions of our minds.  Since my mind is approximately the size of a walnut on a good day, there isn’t a lot left over for stunningly brilliant blog-diggity.

Speaking of getting the boy to college, how amazing is it that there are like 9 weeks left of school for him?  I have no words.  There were times it seemed like these days would never come and yet here we are at the final countdown.   Now you see why I’m making that face!

I remember what it was like – those final days that seemed endless but still managed to end.  The hopes, the fears (ohmygod the fear!), that frenetic feeling of something unknown on the horizon.  Happy, sad, excited, proud, trepidatious, hopeful…these are just a few of the emotions I have swirling around like a tornado.  Mostly it’s awesomeness.  The overwhelming awesomeness of this is just about too much.

So that’s where I am.
