Me to the Boy: When you did the dishes last night you didn’t put the salad dressings and the stuff on the table away. Did you forget how to do dishes? (since he’s never home for dinner anymore and only is now because his girlfriend is out of town)
The Boy: I didn’t forget! I just didn’t remember.
*snort*
Well, mine are still baffled with the concept of wiping the table and counters down. Pointing out the piles of food, and thinking they’ll get that it should be cleaned up seems to not be making an impression. *sigh*
