Hair Raising

So I know that as a blogger I should write posts about topics that can get people thinking and keep them interested.  Posts should be funny or thoughtful or insightful (or inciteful!); they should center around subjects that people care about.  Important subjects.

So without further ado, I give you a post about….

…my hair!

For about a year I have been trying to get rid of the majority of the blond that has invaded my hair because the whole dark eyebrows/blond hair trailer trash thing was getting on my nerves!  Every time I tried something went horribly awry and I ended up as blond, or more blond than I started.  Until the time it was green.  That was just bad.  Not this time!  This time I’ve gone back to my roots.

Yes, I realize I look much happier in the first picture but that’s because blonde’s are supposed to have more fun right?

I told hubby he had to tell me 18 times that it looked good or I would cry, because I’m a big whiny baby like that.  But the truth is I really like it.  I like being blond, although not nearly as blond as that photo above, but having my hair redarkified feels like coming home.  I’m back in my own skin.
